North London & Balham revisits

Catching up with two sets of house-hunters who battled the property markets either side of the Thames. In 2018, Emily and Dustin had saved a healthy deposit, but in the north London market, they were finding it hard to secure their first home. In 2009, it was all about location for Sarah and Ian. Fixated on their beloved Balham, but without the budget for two bedrooms, Phil Spencer had to employ some creative thinking in order to fulfil their wish list.
