I usually like Erin's designs, but NOT this time. Why in the world would you put the kitchen right at the front of the house when he wants to do Barbeque in the backyard? Why not put the kitchen where it was with a backdoor to the backyard?

It's all really "pretty" but, IMHO, NOT functional. Opening the front door to the kitchen is, in a word, awful. Why not put the living room where the living room was and the dining room where they have put the living room? OR block off that part of the front room (where she's put the kitchen) and make it his bedroom with the bathroom behind it? There is, IMHO, a much better design than putting the kitchen just inside the front door...

Also - his "office" is too small to also be a guest room. Do they really think that all his work will fit ONLY on that desktop? And where would guests put their things? On his desktop? Come on, Erin, you are better than this!

I think Erin lost it on this one...
