The Traffic Engineering Company (CET) is invaded by bandits. Lopes asks Menck to go back on leave. Chacur takes over as negotiator. Menck discovers something about Sofia's accident. Chacur, in the CET lobby, negotiates with the kidnapper, but when she enters captivity she discovers that the exchange she had with the bandit was not so true.
