Ram's Promise to Bharath Bharath asks Ram for his sandals. Janak is worried about Sita's well-being during the exile. Ram, Lakshman and Sita bid goodbye to their family. Ram promises Bharath to return after his exile. Bharath places Ram's sandals on the throne. He apologises to Vashist saying he cannot take over Ram's place.
