In Group E, the Republic of Ireland faced 2012 finalists Italy in Lille, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic's Sweden were up against a fancied Belgium side. Portugal met Hungary in Group F, with Iceland and Austria also in action.
There is also another chance to watch the Republic of Ireland's final group match against Italy on BBC Two between 2am and 3.40am.
