Europe took a third consecutive Ryder Cup victory in 2014 with a dominant 16½-11½ win at Gleneagles. Having led 10-6 going into the singles day they reached the 14½ needed to win the Cup outright when Welsh rookie Jamie Donaldson beat Keegan Bradley.
