As a nation, the UK is incredibly giving and Going Back Giving Back is born out of this generosity. Presenter Aled Jones will explore someone's personal history to see how they can positively change the life of another. Aled Jones goes back to the 1950s and Northumberland to hear the astonishing tale of a man whose childhood held a shocking secret. Along the way, Aled introduces him to a young man who also had a tough start in life, and although he has the drive and ambition to succeed, he needs a helping hand.
