How does the subscription work?

TVmaze premium is a subscription package: your account will enjoy the premium features for as long as the subscription is active. The subscription is automatically renewed after a year, but can be canceled at any time.

Which payment methods are available?

Payments are processed by our partner Paddle, which accepts all major credit cards and Paypal. If your preferred payment method is not available, please let us know and we'll work on getting it included.

Payments are completely safe and secure. At no point during the payment process is any kind of personal information collected on TVmaze servers.

Can I be billed monthly instead?

Because of the payment processing fees associated with each individual payment, you are encouraged to use our advantageous yearly packages. For those of you uncomfortable with a yearly subscription, monthly packages are available here. Note that the monthly packages are more expensive to make up for the additional transaction fees.

What is VAT?

Sales in the European Union and United Kingdom are subject to VATMOSS rules that mandate the application of the customer's home country's sales tax. VAT is included in all the listed prices.

Can I change my subscription?

You can switch between the different premium packages at any time via the premium dashboard. Changes are automatically pro-rated, which means the remaining value of your existing subscription is used towards the new subscription.

The premium package I paid for is not working.

Please reply to the order confirmation email with all available information and we'll help you out as soon as possible.

My payment was declined.

Creditcard companies use various automated methods to combat payment fraud. If your payment is declined and you don't understand why, please contact our payment processor Paddle directly at https://paddle.com/support/contact.

How do I update my payment information?

Your payment information can be updated via the premium dashboard. Additionally, we'll send you an email if a payment should fail and give you a couple of days to update your information before the account is downgraded.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Your subscription can be cancelled at any time via the premium dashboard. Cancelling the subscription means that no further payments will be deducted from your account. Your premium features will remain active for as long as you've paid for, as listed on the dashboard.

Is there a trial available?

Yes! You can try Premium completely free for 30 days. If you cancel your trial within 30 days, no charges are made. Otherwise, we'll automatically convert you to a regular Premium subscription after the trial has ended.

Can I get a refund?

If you're unhappy about your yearly premium subscription, you can apply for a refund up to 14 days after subscribing. Please reply to the order confirmation email for more information. Monthly or trial subscriptions are not eligible for a refund. Please take into account that transaction fees might be deducted from the refund.
