'Britannia' will leave its army of fans on a cliffhanger finale after Sky decided not to renew the epic fantasy historical drama for Series 4. All three series aired on Sky Atlantic in the U.K. and streamed on Now and Sky Go. The first series was carried by Amazon Prime Video in the U.S., while Epix released Series 2 and 3. Produced by UK companies Neal Street Productions and Vertigo Films, 'Britannia' has been cancelled despite building a loyal and engaged fan base.

I was eager to watch this show when it first appeared but was not enamored at all with it after finishing series 3. The show was muddled and difficult to follow at times. Not surprised or disappointed that it has been canceled.
