Charlie Hunnam is an English actor. He was was born Charles Matthew Hunnam on 10 April 1980 in Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, England. Hunnam is best known for his role as Jax Teller in the FX series Sons of Anarchy (2008–2014). His portrayal was nominated twice for the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Actor.
