Born in Los Angeles, Johnny Lewis was taken to auditions at the age of six by his mother and quickly won over casting agents, appearing in commercials and television series such as Malcolm in the Middle, The Guardian, and Much Ado About Whatever. Not only a superb actor, he was also a philanthropist, donating hundreds of thousand of dollars to worthy causes, as well as being an active member of a number of charitable organizations. After a motorcycle crash in 2011, his family and friends noticed he was displaying behavioral changes such as aggression, self-harm and hypersensitivity to light.
