Leslie Mann is an American actress, who was born Heather Alexandra Mann on March 26, 1972, in San Francisco, California. Mann was raised by a single mother and graduated from Corona del Mar High School. The actress began acting in television commercials when she was 17 years old. At the age of 24, she landed her first big role on the film The Cable Guy, which also starred Jim Carey. It was on the set of The Cable Guy where she met and fell in love with her future husband, Judd Apatow, the co-writer and producer of the film. The couple married on June 9, 1997, and have two children together. Mann is most recognized for playing witty, comedic characters. Comedic movies Mann has performed in include, She's the One, George of the Jungle, Big Daddy, Stealing Harvard, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, Drillbit Taylor, 17 Again and This Is 40. Several of these films were done in collaboration with her husband.
