Lance Koyata was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. After a brief stint in the computer industry, he turned to theatre, TV and movie acting. He was the weekend morning DJ on a Hamilton, Ontario radio station. Lance died suddenly of an unidentified viral infection in 1995.
