System of a Down

System of a Down is an Armenian-American heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California, the USA, formed in 1994. The band members consist of Serj Tankian (vocals, keyboards), John Dolmayan (drums), Daron Malakian (guitar, vocals), and Shavo Odadjian (bass). All four members are of Armenian ancestry, and some of their songs are about Armenian history and politics.
