John H. Mayer was born on November 16, 1942 in New York City, New York, USA. He is an actor and cinematographer, known for Falling Skies (2011), Stormageddon: Earthquake vs Tsunami (2013) and The Comeback (2005).
Member of The Groundlings comedy theater company from 1978/1982. Returned in 1984 for a special Arts Festival production during the '84 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
In 1973 he co-wrote / co-directed "Radio Rocket Boy", an award-winning short film, in collaboration with Robert Swarthe.
