Ed Waters

Ed Waters was born September 23 in New York City. He majored in English literature at the University of Notre Dame and following graduation saw service as an officer in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He sold his first scripts to "The Lineup," "Richard Diamond, Private Eye," "The Virginian," "Mannix," "The Young Lawyers" and "The F.BI." He has written for almost every major series since then. His TV movies include "The Intruder Within" and his theatrical movies are "Mantrap," "Caper of the Golden Bulls" and "Darker Than Amber." Waters was supervising producer of "Baretta," producer of "Today's F.B.I.," story editor of "Sixth Sense," executive story consultant of "Police Story" and executive story consultant of "Kung Fu."
