Claude Badri Sharma was born and raised in Stoney Creek, Ontario to a Québecois mother and a first generation immigrant Indian father. He studied journalism at Mohawk College and Media, Information, Technoculture - Media, Theory and Production at Western University. Claude started his career in 2008 as a reporter and anchor with TVCogeco in North Bay. In 2012 he joined CTV News as a mobile journalist and anchor at CTV Northern Ontario, based in Sudbury and Timmins. Claude became Northeastern Ontario Digital Media Producer and Journalist on TVO's Ontario Hubs team in 2018.
