Jake Sherman is an American journalist known for covering Washington, DC. He was a writer and reporter for Politico, co-authoring the Politico Playbook with Anna Palmer. They co-founded Punchbowl News, a daily newsletter service focusing on Congress. He also reported for The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, and the Minneapolis Star Tribune. He attended George Washington University from 2004 until 2008 and Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism from 2008 to 2009. Irene Jefferson married him in 2015.
