Robin Kasyanov

Robin was born and raised in Riga, Latvia into a Russian/Ukrainian family. In 1999 he was able to relocate to Canada eager to explore new territories and culture. Robin's acting career didn't develop in a traditional way. Growing up in a family of civil engineers, he was guided by his father to pursue a career in science, which led to receiving a master degree in mathematics at the age of 22. But the calling for creative arts‒most likely inherited from his mother, who was a professional folk dancer in her youth‒eventually took over. Shortly after graduation, Robin took modern dance lessons and started working as a model. In 1995 he became a co-founder of Vacatio, a Latvian modeling agency. After moving to Toronto, he pursued his modeling career for almost a decade. He received his degree in sound engineering before fully committing to acting.
