Seyan Sarvan

Seyan Sarvan was born on May 3, in London, England, to an Indian Sikh family. She began acting at the age of 16, playing the role of 'O'Brien in 1984 by George Orwell' at the Lyric Theatre Hammersmith. She continued to perform in prominent London theaters such as The Arcola & The Battersea Arts Centre. As well as appearing in a Channel4 Young Talent Short Film 'R.I.P' directed by BAFTA Award-Winning, Colin O'Toole. Then after attending LCM, Sarvan graduated with a degree in Acting. While in training Sarvan wrote the play 'The Grid' raising awareness of mental health in Children. Sarvan also developed the adaptation of 'The White Devil by Webster' with Screenwriter, Simon Lewis. Both plays were performed around London and proceeds were given to the 'Mental Fight Club'.Sarvan is heavily influenced by the idea of Film, TV, and Theatre being influential instruments for social change, which can be seen in her body of work, thus far. She is driven to give a voice to the voiceless and represent the underrepresented- connecting audiences with new perspectives. Boys by Russell T Davies, Spin State by Ross Wilson and 51 States by Cassandra Virdee are set to be Sarvan's 2020 releases. Other prominent roles that Sarvan is linked to will be published later this year.
