Floor Jansen was born in the Dutch city of Goirle on February 21st, 1981. After living an ordinary life, she graduated at the Academy of Rock in Tilburg and became the frontwoman of the Finnish Symfonical metalband Nightwish in 2012.
Before Floor joined Nightwish, she was the leadsinger, song- and text writer of the Dutch metalband After Forever and sang for her own band named ReVamp.
