Ashley was born in Incheon, South Korea, but later she lived in USA. In 2013 she debuted in a korean girl group Ladies' Code with 5 members. In 2014 the group was involved in a car accident. Two of the members died. Ashley encountered minor injuries. The group disbanded on February 17, 2020. She debuted as a soloist on July 17, 2018, with the single 'Here We Are'.
