Avi Schiffmann

Avi Schiffmann is a 17-year-old high school student from Mercer Island, Washington who built a website for worldwide information on the spread of the novel coronavirus which causes COVID-19. He launched the website in February 2020. Schiffmann's mother is a physician and his father is a biologist. He began teaching himself how to code when he was seven years old, mostly by watching YouTube videos.
