Banyol Kong Janoi was born in Mon State in Southern Burma. He is a reporter and producer for the BBC World Service Trust and news editor of the Independent Mon News Agency. Kong works for print media, radio, and News Online. He produces stories while attending university for his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Bangkok, Thailand.
