Germaine Brooks is an American actor originally from Central Florida. Although he grew up mostly in Orlando, all of his family is from Jacksonville, and Duval County was also vital in his development. As a child he began his career doing TV commercials for various local outlets and appearing on Nickelodeon as well. Becoming a young adult, Brooks became more involved in the music side of entertainment founding his own recording label at the age of 18.
After several successful releases he began to focus again on acting and script writing. His re-emergence in the dramatic arts has landed him several television and film roles most notably appearing on the television show Fatal Attraction and the film Lila & Eve starring alongside Jennifer Lopez and Viola Davis. Brooks has also appeared in the films The Turnaround which is an inspirational urban drama, and the romantic comedy When Love Happens Again.
Germaine Brooks is best known as Trey in Showtime's drama Your Honor.
