Elsbeth McCall is a Toronto-based director, producer and actor. She is a graduate of the film program at Sheridan College (2017) as well as the acting conservatory training program at Humber College (2010). Her films Runaway and Perception have played Canadian festival circuits.
She has worked on many television and film sets in Toronto as an actor, director, producer, assistant director and script supervisor. Some of her favourite projects include White Lie (Film Forge), Frankie Drake Mysteries and Murdoch Mysteries (Shaftesbury/CBC), Avocado Toast (Guts & Gall Productions), and Jump, Darling (Big Island Productions).
McCall is currently an associate producer on Hudson & Rex Season 5 (Shaftesbury/Pope Productions/City TV) as well as Murdoch Mysteries Season 16 (Shaftesbury/CBC). Elsbeth made her Canadian television directorial debut on Murdoch in Winter 2022 with the episode "Sweet Amelia".
