Xu Di

Xu Di, born in Beijing in July 1958, is an actor of the Beijing Opera Troupe and a national first-class actor. She graduated from the Beijing Opera School in 1978.

Xu Di's debut work is 'Yang Naiwu and Little Cabbage'. In 1987, he played Qiaojun in the TV series 'The Camera Extends to the Courtyard'. In 1988, she won the Outstanding Performance Award in the Beijing Young Opera Actors Awards. In 1994 CCTV version of the TV series 'Romance of the Three Kingdoms' played Mrs. Gan.  In 1995, he played Zhang Ping in the TV series 'Start and Stop'. In 1997, he won the 14th Chinese Drama 'Plum Blossom Award', and was the first actor in Beijing opera to win the Drama Plum Blossom Award.   In 2004, Xu Di released a solo album of Beijing Opera. In August 2011, he played the role of Cuihua Niang in the emotional ethics drama 'My Father and Mother' starring Chen Xiaoyi; in November of the same year, he starred in the post-80s marriage original scene documentary 'Happiness Not Full', which was adapted from the novel of the same name, and played a primary school. Teacher Qiao's mother; later, he partnered with Li Jian to film the family emotional drama 'The Mother-in-law of the Only Child', in which he played Shu Yile's mother Wang Xizhen; later, he partnered with Zhang Guoli in the family ethics drama 'Look at these two' directed by Lu Xiaopin. Liu Guifang in 'Family Child'. In 2014, he cooperated with Li Xiaoran to play Wang Huijuan in the TV series 'Mr. Husband'; in the same year, he cooperated with Sha Yi and Ma Su to play Zhao Wenping in the TV series 'Rules before Marriage'. In 2015, he cooperated with Andy Lau and Jing Boran to play Zeng Shuai's biological mother in the movie 'Lost Orphan'. In 2018, she won the Best Supporting Actress at the Magnolia Award at the 24th Shanghai TV Festival with 'My First Half of Life'.
