He is also a musician, and has been a horse breaker, an engineer, and a Special Forces Medic. He was in the military for 18 years and ended his career as a Green Beret (18D) in the special forces.

Brown was born and raised in Montana where he grew up ranching and farming. His mother taught him and his brothers to play music, and sing. Working on a ranch he learned to train horses, work cattle, and all the other tasks that came with ranch work. After High School he Joined the Army Reserve and studied engineering first at the University of Montana, then Montana State. Eventually Brown switched to the Army National Guard in order to join Special Forces where he earned his Green Beret. After deploying and spending three years on a Team, Brown decided to attend acting school, scratching an itch that had existed for many years. His first stage performance left him awestruck with the power and importance of storytelling; he fell in love with it, and knew he had found his calling. He dedicated himself to the study of acting, and entered the BFA Acting Program at Utah Valley University. In 2021 Brown moved to Los Angeles, California.
