Born and raised in Montreal, Emily Hampshire has made an indelible mark on the Canadian film and television industry in a relatively short period of time. Her work has been recognized by the Canadian Academy of Cinema and Television with three Genie Award Nominations, a Gemini Award for her work on the small screen and she was chosen by her peers in the Canadian Actors Guild as a nominee for ‘Outstanding Female Performance' at the ACTRA Awards. In 2013, Variety named her an ‘International Star You Need To Know' while also being featured on the NextGen Canada list by The Hollywood Reporter the same week.
On the big screen, she appeared opposite Robert Pattison in David Cronenberg's Cosmopolis. Additional film credits include My Awkward Sexual Adventure, The Returned, That Burning Feeling, and All the Wrong Reasons.
