Jack Duffy began his career as a singer in 1945 with CBC Radio in Toronto, a few years later he was singing with the group known as the Bob-O-Links, and touring the U.S. with the Tommy Dorsey band. That led to him appearing on shows including the Wayne and Shuster Show, The Barris Beat and Folio, and eventually his own Here`s Duffy television show in the late 1950s. His film career began in 1978 when he was cast in The Silent Partner.
Jack Duffy was 81 when he died of natural causes in Toronto General Hospital.
