Born in London, England, Anna Calder-Marshall began her acting career in 1967 with appearances in episodes of The Wednesday Play, Love Story and Sanctuary. In 1969 she landed the role of Mary McNeil in the made for TV movie Male of the Species, for which she won a Primetime Emmy Award.
