Danielle Gelber

Danielle Gelber launched her own company, Acoustic Prods. in 2016, when she inked a first-look deal with NBC. Prior to that, she did a five-year stint as EVP and head of development for Dick Wolf's Universal TV-based Wolf Entertainment.

Gelber, who sold Chicago Fire to NBC on her first day with Wolf Entertainment, worked with Wolf and his team to develop the Chicago-branded series Chicago Fire, Chicago PD and Chicago Med, as well as the current Chicago Justice pilot.

Before joining Wolf Films in 2011, Gelber served as senior vp original programming at Showtime Networks, where she was behind the successful series The Big C, Episodes (Showtime's first collaboration with BBC) and Weeds, among others. Before that, she was senior vp drama series programming at Fox and developed such shows as The X-Files, Party of Five, Melrose Place and Beverly Hills, 90210. Before Fox, Gelber served as director of television development for Aaron Spelling's Spelling Television, where she helped manage series including Dynasty and The Love Boat.
