Keith Washington

Keith Washington is an actor, known for Special Branch (1969), The Professionals (1977) and Play for Today (1970).

He trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama and worked as an actor in regional repertory at Manchester, Harrogate and Liverpool Everyman. He appeared in London at the Mermaid Theatre, the Aldwych and the Roundhouse. From 1968-70 was a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company. In 1975 he joined the English by Radio repertory company and developed a successful career as a voice over artist. Appeared extensively on television and film, most notably in Thames TV's Special Branch and as Matthew in Franco Zeffirelli's Jesus of Nazareth.
