Victoria takes tea to the Witch, and admits that Lucy has a resilient spirit. The Witch points out that Victoria will never get Anastasia back as long as Lucy believes, and says that Victoria has always thought of belief as something solid hat can easily be removed. She warns that believe is a weed and it has to be uprooted at the source. Victoria offers the Witch tea, and the witch says that she wants her special brew. Her captor says that the Witch will get it when she gives her the answers.
In the office, Lucy is waiting impatiently for Victoria to arrive before she misses her ballet. Sabine arrive and gives Lucy beignets, just as Victoria comes in and gives Ivy a list of herbs to get. Victoria then tells Sabine that she's increasing the rate. Lucy says that it isn't fair, and Sabine sys that she can fight her own battles. She figures that Victoria is trying to push her out, and warns that they'll pus back.
Many Years Ago
Eudora welcomes guests for the auction to their castle, as Tiana looks on. As Tiana complains that people are picking through their things, Druzilla comes over and sarcastically says that everything of value is gone. She notices a medal and Tiana says that it's her father's medal and not for sale. Once Druzilla leaves, Tiana complains to Eudora about selling their things. Eudora warns that if they don' raise enough money, they'll be tossed out. She says that it's not what she wanted for Tiana, but she can't find a hero for her daughter to marry. Tiana has an idea of where to start looking and says that she'll find a prince who is brave and heroic like her father was.
Now
At the bar, Rogers shows Henry what little information he has about the missing Eloise Gardener. The case went cold ten years ago, and it's been a side project for him. Roni comes in and says that Rogers can lock the file box in her keg room. There's Eloise's journal and Rogers says that the thumbs through it when things are quiet. Once Rogers leaves, Roni asks Henry why he was there with ivy. She points out that Ivy is Victoria's mother, and doesn't believe that Ivy will ever stand up to her mother.
Sabine goes to the chicken place and tells Jacinda that they should go into business making beginets for themselves and make a fortune. Jacinda wonders how Sabine paid for the cooking supplies, and Sabine admits that she used all of their rent money.
Rogers walks down the street reading Eloise's journal, and sees a sketch of a stone window. The desk sergeant is subduing a prisoner from Pleasure Island Cabaret, and Rogers notices that the man has a tattoo on his wrist like one in Eloise's journal.
Sabine figures that while the owner Louis is at a convention, she can run the beginet cooking operation out of the restaurant kitchen. Jacinda says that she needs a job and a real plan to get Lucy back, and Sabine's plan is too risky. Sabine insists that they have to take the risk and fight for Lucy, and Jacinda finally gives in.
The Past
Tiana goes to a cabin in the woods and asks where she can find the traveling soothsayer. The locals recognize Tiana and gather around her, begging her to help them. Dr. Facilier sends them all off and invites her in. Facilier tells her that there's a prince in her future, and tosses the stones, and describes what has happened. He figures that Tiana has come to him seeking a strong ruler, and Facilier tells her that she owes him nothing but a smile. He says that she will find the prince that night if she follows the red crow.
Now
Ivy gives Victoria the herbs and Victoria goes to the elevator. She tells Ivy that she should shut up and earn her job title. Once she goes, Ivy checks the security cameras and sees Victoria use a key to go to a hidden floor. She then calls Henry and leaves a message saying she knows where he can start finding dirt on Victoria.
At the bar, Henry tells Roni that ivy gave him a lead on Victoria. Roni figures that Henry is falling for her, and says that he should consider Jacinda. She warns that Henry is genuine and Roni isn't, but Henry says that Roni isn't his mother. As Henry goes to the bathroom, his phone rings. Roni answers it and quickly texts back pretending that she's Henry and says that she's coming, and then puts the phone back.
Sabine and Jacinda make beginets, and people come in when Sabine pus a pop-up ad. Lucy arrives and says that she told Victoria that ballet is going late so that she could be part of their dream. She has made a firefly logo, and Sabine tells her to stamp all of their bags with the logo. Jacinda figures that Sabine's plan could work, and Sabine wants to set up a food truck.
The Past
As Tiana goes, she sees a red crow and follows it. It flies to a tavern, and Tiana goes inside. A man demands her earrings, and another man Prince Robert Marias draws a sword and tells the thief to back down. Once the thief leaves, Robert introduces himself to Tiana. She thanks him for his help, and Robert says he hopes to learn why their paths have crossed. He invites her to dinner and she accepts.
Now
Victoria tries a beginet and admits that it's good. She hastily puts it down and texts to her man Ralph, telling him to wreck the restaurant.
Rogers talks to the perp, and shows him Eloise's journal. The perp says that he was serving time when Eloise disappeared, and a fellow prisoner gave him the tattoo said that he it would ward off evil. Rogers starts to leave, and the perp tells him that the tattoo is a powerful rune.
At the restaurant, Jacinda thanks Sabine for pushing her. They smell fire and run to the back, and discover that the kitchen is burning. They're unable to put it out, and Sabine grabs the cash box and turns on the alarm.
The Past
Tiana shows Robert the Firefly Ruby meal that they gave her father during the War. He was a cook at first, but picked up a sword and fought the invaders. Robert tells her that he'll help to let Tiana save her kingdom. As he leaves, Tiana notices that the medal is gone. She grabs Robert, who says that Facilier made him to do it. Robert says that he's just a commoner, not a prince, and Facilier turned his love into a frog. He said that he would free her if Robert brought him the medal. Tiana tells Robert to get out and he goes.
Later, Eudora approaches Tiana and Tiana admits that she's been self-centered. Eudora says that she's tried to protect her from the realities of what the kingdom has become, and after seeing Tiana she realized that they have everything their people need. Her husband's legacy is I Tiana, and puts the medal on her daughter. Eudora tells Tania to embrace her destiny.
Now
The fire department arrives and puts out the fire, and Lucy and Jacinda find Sabine. Sabine says that it was just a setback, but Jacinda says that she gave her false hope and there's no room for her crazy dreams in the real world. Lucy tells her mother that Sabine did it to help them, and Sabine gives Jacinda the money. There should be enough for two moths' rent and to find a new roommate, and walks off.
Roni goes to Victoria's office and tells Ivy that she's not coming. She figures that Ivy is either trying to piss Victoria off or wants to take one thing away from Jacinda. Ivy wonders why Roni is interested, and says that if Victoria finds out that she's helping Henry then Victoria will have her cleaning toilets. When Roni tells her to prove she's going against her mother, Ivy takes her to the hidden top floor. There's nothing there but a cup of tea, and Roni wonders who Victoria was with. Roni looks around and finds a wall compartment. Inside is a photo, and Roni looks at it in shock.
At the apartment, Sabine tells Lucy that she's going to stay with her mother. She figures that she's trying and failing, and Lucy says that it's just want Victoria wants her to think. Lucy tells Sabine that she's running away, and Sabine is supposed to be with them. Sabine says that Lucy will always have her, but there are some things in live that even she can't fight.
The Past
Tiana goes back to Facilier and gives him the medal. In exchange she wants him to hand over the woman that he kidnapped. Facilier points to a frog on his table and says that the medal transformed Tiana from a sheltered princess into a woman who would sacrifice to help a man she doesn't know. Tiana says that's who she always was but she didn't realize it, and Facilier says that he's been trapped between two worlds. The ruby will set him free. It glows and Facilier says that he will keep the ruby and the frog. Tiana draws her sword and says that she's not leaving without the frog. Facilier drives a knife into a doll and Sabine moans in pain. She knocks the table over and when Facilier goes to get the doll, Tiana grabs the frog. He says that he has the best of the bargain, and uses the ruby to teleport away.
Now
Jacinda catches up to Sabine and apologizes for what she said. She says that Sabine always picks her up when the world gets her down, and she's going to start helping Sabine. She gestures to a nearby empty truck and explains that she bought it for their food truck. Rogers got Jacinda a good deal at the impound lot, and Sabine agrees.
The Past
Tiana finds Robert and gives him the frog. She says that she doesn't need a hero if she can be a hero, and says that she will be going to the castle during the upcoming ball. Tiana asks Robert and his love to join them once he's delivered true love's kiss. Robert gives and the frog and kisses it, tells Tiana that they'll never forget him, and kisses the frog. He turns into a frog and they hop off together.
Now
Sabine goes to the station and gives Rogers a bag of beginets. She thanks him for helping them get the food truck, and Rogers tells her that someone deliberately started the fire. He figures that Victoria was behind and Sabine agrees. Across the street, the perp watches and then calls someone and says that someone is looking for Eloise.
Victoria is looking at a photo of Sabine at her foo truck when Ivy comes in and asks if there's anything she can do for her. The older woman says that she thought that eventually there'd come a day when she had a daughter that she could lean on. However, she then says that it's embarrassing watching Ivy flailing around without realizing all the ways that she's going to fall short. Victoria tells her to think about it and fix her makeup, and leaves.
Roni calls to the bar and tells Henry what she did, and says that maybe they can trust ivy. She shows him the photo, which shows her and a Young Henry together in Storybrooke. Roni has no idea where it is or who the boy is, and Henry says that it's himself as a child.
Ivy goes to the hidden floor and the Witch appears behind her. The Witch points out that Ivy asked her to hide, and ivy says that she told her to hide from Roni. When the Witch asks if they trust her, Ivy says that they trust her as much as Victoria does. The Witch tells Ivy that she's a good girl, and Ivy tells her to play the charade out to the end... and to call her Druzilla, not Ivy.
