A mysterious man leaves his hotel and is attacked in a dark alley, a beggar sees the man fall and approaches to help but the man only manages to babble about a music box and dies afterwards. Tuck's friend, Paul Farrow, asks Tuck to play in a special concert. Meanwhile, Paul gives away Gloria a beautiful jewelry box with a secret compartment that hides a diamond worth $4 million dollars. Paul has just arrived from South Africa and has taken advantage of his status as a famous musician to smuggle the gem into the USA. An effeminate art patron, Franklin Mills, knows about the diamond and will do anything to get it. Bruno, Mills’ henchman, wants the jewel box that Paul gave Gloria. She is fascinated by the musical box, but she accidentally drops it and must take it to be repaired at an antique dealer. Then when she goes to pick up the box, Gloria finds poor Mr. DeBlasio writhing in pain on the floor with an arrow through his chest. Farrow invites Gloria to a special lunch and Tuck begins to feel jealous.
