It is in a remote region in the east of the Philippines, on the large island of Luzon, in the province of Caramoan, that twenty new adventurers come to try their luck and defy the harsh laws of Koh-Lanta. The scene of their future exploits is located on the Pacific Ring of Fire, where tectonic plates clash, where volcanoes follow one another and make the earth rumble. Among these volcanoes, there is Mount Mayon which terrifies the surrounding area. The legend tells that the fire which bubbles in its crater is a sacred fire! Thus, when the god who lives in its bosom is angry, lava rises... But this famous volcano can also decide to offer its protection to those who dare to defy it... It is to seize the sacred fire that these twenty new volunteer castaways will compete!
