Season 3 - Episode Guide

The VF Circuit has been over for months, and Aichi`s life has returned to normal. He`s a high school student in a new school now, and is having trouble adjusting. When Ishida, a terminally foul-tempered student, follows him to Card Capital, will Aichi end up making a new friend? A rival? Or an enemy?

When Aichi attempts to form a Cardfight Club at his high school, Kourin is his first recruit. But then she makes a rule to only let in students who beat her or Aichi in a match. Will they be the only two members? Or does Ishida stand a chance?

It seems that Kourin has a stalker at school, and his name is Shingo. Naoki just wants to hit the guy, but Shingo insists on a Cardfight instead!

The Student Council doesn`t like how the Cardfight Club is making waves, so they send a Cardfighting member of the Football Club to crush Aichi before he can make his club official!

The Cardfight Club needs just one more member to become an official club, but the deadline is only hours away! Misaki seems to be their best hope, but does she want to join? Will Kourin even agree to give her a shot? And even if the answer is yes to both... Misaki will have to fight and beat one of the strongest members of the club to be accepted!

If Aichi`s Cardfight Club doesn`t beat Kai`s Vanguard Club in a series of intramural matches, they`ll have to disband! It`s a tall order to begin with, but making matters worse, the first match is between newbie Naoki and Kai!

Aichi`s Cardfight Club has to win three out of five matches against Kai`s high school team, or they`ll be forced to disband. The current count is 1-1, but in the third match, Misaki goes up against a familiar pint-sized "ringer." Whoever wins this match will be just one step away from victory!

In the final, decisive match of the intramural game against Hitsue High`s Vanguard Club, Aichi fights Morikawa, who`s a pushover except when he`s forced to use a balanced deck. But this time, the balanced deck is Kai`s! Does the deck make the fighter? Find out here!

Picking the captain of the Cardfight Club is easy, but not so much with the vice-captain, when four (out of five) members want the same position. What to do in this situation? Stand up, Vanguard!

The middle school division of Miyaji Academy also has a Cardfight Club, helmed by Emi, her best friend, and a mystery member! But when Komoi and Naoki pay a surprise visit to give them some fighting "guidance," the question becomes... who schools whom?

Rekka is the third member of the middle school Vanguard Fight Circle! Can Aichi preserve his club`s dignity by winning a match against her? Or is it already too late when Komoi falls head over heels for Rekka?!

While taking a tour of Fukuhara High`s Vanguard Club to catch their eventual rivals in action, Aichi and his Cardfight Club witness two powerful combatants in a "friendly" match: AL4`s Assassin, Asaka and Leon Souryu!

Naoki tries to prove himself by fighting Suiko! The return of an old frenemy of Aichi`s! And the promise of a formidable challenge ahead...

It`s time for Miyaji Academy`s school festival, and the Cardfight Club is going to participate... but the vice-president of the Student Council forces them to put on a play. Is Miyaji Academy ready for a fairy tale-Vanguard mash-up play, written and directed by Komoi? Will the vice-president derail their efforts and succeed in embarrassing Aichi and company? And who`s the surprise guest at the end?!

The legendary Cardfighter Daigo is back, and this time he`s in a match with Kourin. All eyes from Miyaji Academy are riveted on the fight, but will the Cardfight Club`s play have a happy ending?!

The elimination round of the VF High School Championship begins with Aichi`s Miyaji Academy versus Hitsue High, home to heavy hitters like Kai and... Miwa?! Misaki learns just how strong Miwa can be in a fight when he`s totally serious about it!

This is the match that decides which team gets cut from the VF High School Championship! It`s Aichi versus Izaki, normally not a nail-biting match-up, but Kai and Miwa have given Izaki special training beforehand... and on top of that, Izaki has a passionate reason of his own to beat Aichi!

It`s the beginning of the final round of the VF High School Championship, Kanto Block 3, with Aichi`s club pitted against Ren`s! First up is Naoki in a rematch against Suiko, who bested him only a few weeks earlier. Has Naoki gotten strong enough to beat one of the tough members of Ultra-rare?!

Two strong fighters, Kourin and Asaka Narumi (the "Beautiful Assassin"), face off for the second match of the Block 3 elimination finals. Both have a strong motivation to win, but what will be the deciding factor that tips the fight one way or the other?

It`s Aichi versus Ren and his Shadow Paladin deck! Has Ren returned to the dark side where he`s well-nigh omnipotent? If Aichi wins this match, the Cardfight Club will go on to the main VF High School Championship. Otherwise... better luck next year!

The Cardfight Club is back home from taking a premature stab at the VF High School Championship, and the Student Council is still plotting against them! This time, a wannabe club, the Paranormal Power Research Society, is pitted against the Vanguard Club with their clubroom on the line... except Aichi and company don`t answer the challenge. In fact, a rooftop battle ensues between the society`s leader and a Vanguard fighter with true power!

Aichi is unnerved when Kourin doesn`t show up for school. Later, Naoki stumbles onto a stunning discovery in the basement of the academy, then immediately runs to Card Capital to demand a fight with Aichi. Does Aichi stand a chance against this new, improved(?) Naoki with his powerful, never-before-seen card?!

Bothered by Ishida`s peculiar behavior, Kai pays Takuto a visit to ask whether Cray has anything to do with it. Takuto fills Kai in on a dire situation that has roots in the previous arc. In fact, Kai can`t a-void being caught up in peril as he finds himself in a desperate Cardfight with his soul in the balance!

Kai is in the fight of his life against the possessed Takuto, with his soul lying in the balance. But when he`s given a choice, will Kai stay true to himself or opt for power?

Possessed by the power of Link Joker, Kai goes to fight Tetsu, a person he deems worthy of passing it on. If Tetsu can`t successfully fend off this new, mysterious deck with its confounding power to "lock" cards, he`ll become infected too, and seek out other fighters...

All Ren wanted to do was check on Asaka and Tetsu, whom he swore to protect, but he`ll have to defeat the Reversed Suiko first... or end up being Reversed and under Void`s power himself!

Ren and a Reversal-recovered Suiko finally find Asaka, but it`s too late: she`s been Reversed, too! Asaka throws down the gauntlet to Ren, and if he loses this match, he`ll be made into her mindless marionette.

The battle between Ren and a Reversed Asaka reaches a fever pitch! If he loses, he`ll become a mindless slave (according to her). But if Ren wins, will Asaka ever live down the things she`s saying to him?!

As Ren fights his Reversed best friend, Tetsu, we go back several years to see how they first met, when Ren was a wide-eyed freshman and Tetsu was a juvenile delinquent brawler who wanted to have nothing to do with him.

The rooftop "boss battle" between Ren and Tetsu concludes here! Can Ren bring Tetsu back from the brink? And if so, what`s the next move?

Mitsusada returns from Singapore, only to be confronted at the airport by a strong Reversed fighter! In the meantime... Chris of Team Genius has been possessed by an unearthly power before. Can he withstand this, or will he become part of the outbreak of Reversed people?

The Reversed Mitsusada intends to gather an army, and he`s already started with a Reversed Team Genius. Yuri will be the next one to succumb, unless she either beats her captain or somehow breaks through the mind control!

Koutei`s reign as "dark emperor" continues as he seeks to increase his Reversed subjects by three... Leon, Jillian, and Sharlene! Will Leon even make it to the VF High School Championship?!

It`s the finale at the airport, with Leon as the last defense against Koutei and his small army of Reversed fighters. But now that Jillian and Sharlene have been Reversed too, will Leon be able to win on his own?!

While the students of Miyaji Academy go on a trip, the Student Council members try to destroy the Cardfight Club`s reputation. Then, the gang watches the final match of the VF High School Championship between Ren and Leon!

Something seems to be wrong with Kourin during the school camping trip. And why did she just invite Aichi to the legendary romantic tree?! Meanwhile, after pulling an all-nighter of intensive Vanguard training, the president and vice-president of Student Council lurk around, waiting for the perfect chance to use their newfound Cardfighting prowess to take down Aichi`s club!

On a visit to Miyaji Academy, Gouki and his pirate buddies get Reversed, then turn the school`s open house into a pirate recruiting effort. But before you can say "Arrrrr," Kamui arrives to put an end to the pirate factory and save Emi and Mai from certain peril!

Kamui hopes the fist of friendship will reverse the Reversed Gouki to normal! Emi and Mai are betrayed by a friend! And the old Ninja Master returns with a new name to take on a Reversed opponent of his own!

Hell hath no fury like Nagisa kept away from her beloved fixation, Kamui, but Ninja Master Neo is doing his best to stop her by using every last ninja technique he knows. Adding weight to the proceedings, of course, is that if the mysterious ninja hero fails, he`ll become Reversed just like Nagisa!

Reversed Rekka wants to beat Kamui; Kamui wants to save Emi and Mai; and Reiji and Eiji have to beat an army of Reversed Rekka groupies! Can they do it?! HD, yo! (Highly doubtful...)

Even though his own best friends have turned against him, Kamui puts everything on the line to win back Emi and Mai`s friendship with Rekka. If he loses, her two "hostages" may just be Reversed too!

Kamui has one more fight to go... against the Reversed Kourin! Aichi and the other club members finally arrive at school, just in time to get a portentous message from Takuto. And a Reversed Kai finally gets back home after apparently criss-crossing the globe...

Aichi and the members of Cardfight Club are surrounded by Reversed fighters like Kamui and Kourin! Miwa fights the Reversed Kai in the name of friendship! And Takuto announces to all Cardfighters that the end of the world is at hand!

Jun, leader of the underground Cardfighting ring, decides to step up. His goal is to bring Kai back to normal, but he won`t even have that chance if the Reversed Miwa has anything to say about it. Meanwhile, when Aichi seems to have lost his groove, Ishida volunteers to help Leon Souryu take down Kai.

Unlikely friends Naoki and Shingo venture into the Reversed Miyaji Academy to turn everyone back to normal, but one of them loses and becomes Reversed himself! Only one is evil now, but which will win, Naoki or Shingo?!

Naoki gets a rematch against Nagashiro, the girl who once Reversed him! If he fails, Komoi, the president, and vice-president are all up for a Reversing, too!

Kamui faces his old friend and rival, Aichi. Of course, Kamui is Reversed, so not only is he more powerful, but jealousy comes to the fore!

It`s almost time for the big battle between Aichi and the Reversed Kai, but Miwa wants to fight Aichi first to test his worthiness. Aichi is game, but Misaki demands the chance to fight Miwa herself so she can be the one to bring him back!

The voluntarily Reversed Kai reveals to Aichi and company why he went over to the "dark side"... and then they have a Cardfight! Kai has something to prove, but Aichi just wants his friend and former mentor back.

The fight between Aichi and Kai ends here, and it looks dire for Aichi! Also, Leon Souryu shows up with an unlikely ally! And who... or what... is Link Joker?!

When Takuto and Leon confront Takuto`s Link Joker double, Leon is teleported to another room, where he`s forced to fight a future version of himself. Specifically, a Leon who has given up and accepted the power of Reverse! Will the Leon of now be able to change his future, or is history (his story) doomed to repeat itself?!

The true Takuto fights his double, who commands the power of Link Joker! While their fight rages on inside, Miwa, Misaki and the others battle a Reversed gang outside, whose power strengthens as the faux Takuto gets closer to winning...

Aichi vs. Kourin! Aichi vows to bring Kourin back to normal from her Reversed state, but she has her own reasons for wanting to win. Also, learn the truth behind Takuto`s connection with Ultra-rare!

Below, Tetsu and Asaka ward off a swarm of Reversed fighters. Far above, a climactic rooftop battle is taking place between the Reversed Kai and Ren as Aichi is forced to stand on the sidelines. Can Ren save the world? Or does that even matter to him while he`s fighting his former best friend and greatest rival?

It`s the ultimate fight to the finish between Kai and Ren, but as the battle rages on, the Reversed Kai becomes... more like himself? Ren seems to have his opponent up against the ropes, but that`s before Kai brings out his game-changer...

Aichi is the only one who can keep the evil Takuto from attaining the end of the world... and it all comes down to a Cardfight! But now Aichi knows that if he wins, Kourin will lose everything...

It seems the end of the world is now, with Link Joker units brought to life, swooping down and stealing lifeforce from people, while hordes of Reversed fighters try to pick off the last of the un-Reversed. The gate will open completely as soon as Aichi is beaten by Dark Takuto... and though the odds are stacked against him, Aichi holds on to one last bit of hope...

Link Joker`s power has been banished from Earth and all Reversed fighters have been returned to normal. But then why is Aichi in a desperate fight against Kai on the roof of Takuto`s building? Whatever the outcome, Kai means for it to be their final battle!

In the finale of the Link Joker arc, Aichi`s epic battle with the Reversed Kai reaches its climax! Kai is determined to win and then disappear forever so he won`t ever be able to succumb to evil again. Aichi is just as determined to save his friend, no matter what it takes!
