Season 1 - Episode Guide

Menekşe is the daughter of an expatriate family living in Germany. She and Halil, who she works with in the same patisserie, love each other. Afraid of her family, Menekşe lives her innocent love secretly. Halil has no one but Menekşe in Germany and his papers are not in order either. Menekşe's younger brother, Kadir's soldier friend, Mustafa arrives in Germany and comes to an agreement with their father, Hasan, to marry Menekşe for €25,000. Unable to resist her family's pressure and afraid of endangering Halil's life, Menekşe decides to go through with the marriage silently without telling Halil. The wedding day will turn into a nightmare for both Halil and Menekşe setting in motion a series if events completely altering their lives.

Mustafa and Menekşe's younger brother Kadir follow Menekşe to Istanbul. Halil who is on the same plane noitces them and follows them in case they manage to locate.

Halil is in Istanbul to be with Menekşe but what he has escaped from in leaving Istanbul in the first place is immediately alerted to his return and trouble begins to knock on his door.

Thinking that she will never find Halil, Menekşe joins the crowd of Istanbul in despair. The passports that she finds in Halil's bag confused her and make her think he will not come for her. But Halil's determination to find Menekşe luckily pays off.

Halil and Menekşe decide to return to the hotel for the time being after realizing the she has lost all her money. Halil is hoping that the lawyer can help him but he finds out that he has committed suicide. It all seems suspicious. He goes to the funeral to get some information. Zeynep is there but Halil has to run away for his life without meeting her. Kadir and Mustafa find out where Menekşe is and arrive there to get her. they drag her to their own hotel.

The hotelkeeper tells Halil they have taken Menekşe and he runs to their hotel.

Inside the hotel they beat her up and are about to shoot her. Khadir leaves and Mustafa decides to rape her.

Halil saves Menekşe and beats up Mustafa. They run away and he can think of no other place to go but to Zeynep's.

Zeynep is shocked to see Halil and their closeness and their past does not sit well with Menekşe.

Meanwhile Mithat, Halil's stepfather is trying to get to Halil and knows Zeynep will lead him to his objective so he has the house watched.

Menekşe's trust in Halil is shaken and the photographs in Zeynep's room make her unsure of Halil's feelings for herself. In morning, Halil realizes Menekşe has gone without a trace.

Menekşe is looking for a place to take shelter in Istanbul, Halil tries every way to reach her. Mithat finds a way to convince Zeynep that her father truly committed suicide and gets close to her and Halil.

Menekşe finds her foster sister's house but choses to hide her story. Menekşe's mysterious appearance makes the Balcı family uneasy. They begin to consider whether they should inform her family.

Halil does not have time to think about his own problems. His priority is in Menekşe  and her safety so he sets out to find her. He calls Nene to get the necessary clue.

Yusuf also comes to Istanbul to save his brother and sister. On the first day he arrives, he meets with the Kadir and Mustafa and gets into trouble with the police that same night.

Halil finds Menekşe against all odds. Halil. He does not know that he is being watched by Mithat and is unaware that he is in fact pulling Menekşe into the danger that surrounds him. Halil gets a job with the Balcis but at the same time the Balcis decide to quietly inform Menekşe's father.

As soon as Menekşe's father learns her whereabouts, he informs Kadir and Mustafa. Nene and Suheyla also try to reach Yusuf to inform him.

Unawares, Kadir and Mustafa begin doing Mithat's dirty work for him. They are unaware of what trouble they are getting into in their new job.

Yusuf finally gets Menekşe's address. He comes face to face with Halil. Menekşe tries to stop the fight. Halil is ready to give up Menekşe to Yusuf as long as he guarantees her safety. Yusuf is impressed by Halil's genuine concern for Menekşe. He tells him that they have a photo of him as well so he is in danger too. So the three of them escape together.

Halil takes them all to Zeynep's. Mithat, trying to gain Halil's trust, also gets involved and pretends he is trying to help.

Menekşe goes to Zeynep's place with reluctance. Mithat is interested in the bag that Halil keeps with him and the mystery of the empty box that his mother sent before she died. Listening to the whole story of Menekşe and Halil, Mithat learns that her brother and husband who tried to kill Menekşe were the men working for him.

Kadir and Mustafa arrive at the Balcis to get Menekşe. When they escape, Mustafa decides to take Canay hostage in exchange for Menekşe.

Kadir is very uncomfortable about Canay's kidnapping but feels he has to go along with it. As soon as Halil and Yusuf hear about the incident, they follow the Kadirs. Meanwhile, Menekşe wants to do something for Canay and calls Kadir. This is the first time she speaks to her own hunters. Zeynep witnesses this conversation and decides to use the opportunity to get rid of Menekşe.

On the other hand, Mithat learns that Canay has been kidnapped and immediately tells them to release her. Yusuf finds Canay and takes her back home.

Kadir and Mustafa goes to the address provided by Zeynep dragging Kadir into it. He sees Menekşe and Halil on the verandah and shoots beginning a shoot out.

Halil and Kadir are shot. Mustafa and Kadir fall into the hands of Mithat's men. Kadir is on his deathbed. Mustafa wants to take him to the hospital as soon as possible, but his treatment is delayed for fear of the police.

Menekşe's father comes to Istanbul. Mustafa tells Hasan that his son was shot by Halil. Hasan goes crazy saying this is now a blood feud.

Menekşe and Halil are now hiding in Mithat's house, unaware of Kadir's situation. Mithat wants to keep them close to figure out the mystery of Halil's box. Mithat tells them the attackers were the men trying to kill Halil, so Halil feels guilty, thinking that everyone is under threat because of the men after him.

Menekşe and Halil do not hesitate to live their love even under all kinds of difficult conditions. Their love consistently makes Zeynep more jealous. Halil finally discovers something he had never noticed in the box.

Halil begins to search for the significance of mysterious numbers he found in his mother's memory box. He shows Menekşe the numbers and they pursue this mystery together. They decide not to tell Mithat, but Zeynep finds out.

The situation of Kadir, who was shot by Mithat's men, gets worse. Kadir is taken to a full-fledged hospital. Hasan comes to his son. Kadir has lost a lot of blood, one kidney has completely lost its function, and the other is deteriorating fast. A kidney transplant is needed for recovery. The search for a suitable kidney begins with family members.

Yusuf finally learns from his father that Kadir was injured and immediately goes to the hospital. Mustafa does not want Yusuf even in the hospital. According to him, Yusuf united with Halil and caused his brother to fall into this situation. Mustafa keeps goading on Hasan. Yusuf goes to the hospital and from Mustafa's descriptions suspects Zeynep had revealed their whereabouts. He goes back to the house. Halil and Menekşe have gone out. At the house Yusuf realizes Mithat is in trouble with the police. The newly appointed Commissioner Ömer is interrogating Mithat and Zeynep. Mithat panics. Yusuf calls Halil and tells them not to return to Mithat's house or answer their calls.

Menekşe learns that her brother is fighting for his life in the hospital. Yusuf tells them that the police are looking for Halil and also that he does not trust Mithat or Zeynep.

When Menekşe and Halil learn that the police are looking for Halil, they start to run away again. Halil is in disbelief about what hears about Zeynep. Zeynep denies that she has revealed their address to Kadir but Halil hangs up on her in disappointment.

They settle in Yusuf's hostel to spend the night. The next day, Menekşe's mother and grandmother will come to Istanbul. Yusuf goes to the airport to meet them. Menekşe and Halil are left alone in the hostel.

Kadir's condition is gradually improving. But still no suitable kidney has been found. Emotional moments arise when Süheyla goes to the hospital. While Hasan and Mustafa keep watch over Kadir, Yusuf brings his mother and grandmother to the hostel. Menekşe is very relieved to see her mother and grandmother for the first time in weeks, but she is very concerned about Kadir.

Unbeknownst to one another, Menekşe and Halil decide to take a serious step to change the situation. Halil shares his decision with Yusuf. Yusuf gives a gift to Menekşe and Halil  consenting they spend the whole day together alone on the town. Menekşe and Halil spend the day together visiting different parts of Istanbul. When they return, Menekşe goes on to pack her bag and go to the hospital to donate her kidney to Kadir while Halil heads on to the police station. Hearing that Menekşe is at the hospital, Halil goes to her.

Halil cannot leave Menekşe alone at the hospital; so he delays his plan to surrender. Menekşe comes face to face with her father and Mustafa and when they try to hassle her she resists saying she is there for his brother. Mustafa makes a scene as he does not want her to fix matters with her family but Hasan cannot stop her from going through with the tests that might result in saving Kadir.

As a result of detailed examinations made so that Menekşe can donate her kidney, it is also revealed that Menekşe is a virgin. Nene makes sure that that the men hostile to Menekşe see the report. Hasan can no longer accuse Menekşe of having a sexual relationship with Halil and Kadir is surprised that his friend Mustafa has not consummated the marriage despite having provided evidence that he had!

When Mithat cannot reach Halil he decides to get rid of him. He sends his goons to kill him at the hospital but Zeynep has also decided to go to the police to investigate her father's death and ends up leading the police to the hospital. While Menekşe is being taken into surgery, Halil is captured.

Menekşe goes into surgery unaware that Halil has been arrested. Everyone watches Halil being taken away with curiosity and amazement. When Hasan learns the story of Halil from Yusuf, he is confused.

Mithat is also arrested as he is about to flee abroad. The police want Halil to cooperate in order to prove Mithat's crimes. The kidney transplant is successful. The waters settle between the family. While Halil is trying to clear himself, Menekşe patiently waits for the day they will meet.

Menekşe is once again shaken by her father's decision to return to Germany. She doesn't want to leave Halil and go anywhere. But this time she is not alone. The whole family is against Hasan. Nobody wants to go back. They decide to settle in Istanbul. Hasan goes to Germany to sell their properties.

Halil is released and Zeynep has managed to get close to him by defending him through the legal procedures. He meets Menekşe. The family is happy to see him. Kadir however reminds him that Menekşe is still legally married and he should not been around her. Menekşe is angry at Kadir but together with Halil they decide to wait for her father's return while also pursue her divorce through legal channels.

Ostracized by the family, Mustafa is having a hard time. Mithat's team have dispersed so he is completely alone. While he is wandering around Istanbul, penniless and alone, his anger towards Menekşe and Halil grows even more. A woman he meets in the park one night makes him revaluate his revenge on Menekşe with greater ferocity.

Realizing Mustafa is lurking around the hostel while Menekşe is alone he immediately gets himself there. Halil arrives and makes sure Mustafa is not there. The family arrives from house hunting and Halil finally presents himself to  Menekşe's father. Hasan accepts Halil's hand and begins treating Halil with trust and respect.

Halil and Menekşe are happy about Hasan's acceptance. Hasan however is in effect impressed by Halil's money and is hoping that he can get Halil to pay for all his financial needs.

Zeynep is increasingly disturbed by the rapprochement of Halil and Menekşe. She begins dropping false clues of her closeness with Halil only for Menekşe's audience.

Mithat's secret war against Halil finally benefits Mustafa, and just when Mustafa thinks he is all washed up, Mithat's goons call him back into their pack.

Zeynep finds a way to turn Halil's dinner for Menekşe and her family into a nightmare for the two lovers.

Zeynep even manages to make Halil doubt himself temporarily. However finally he realizes that Zeynep is paying games to break up his relationship with Menekşe. was playing his game. Now the love of Menekşe and Halil will pass a great test. Menekşe feels it is all over.

Kadir who is after clearing up his own mistakes, finds Halil's cheque and takes it to  Mustafa. Mustafa loses the cheque and when Kadir returns to make sure he is going to divorce her sister, Mustafa lies that he has torn the cheque up and will not divorce.

Meanwhile Mustafa learns that their mysterious big boss is Halil's step father, Mithat Ateş and informs Kadir.

Halil gets Yusuf to help him to talk to Menekşe. Yusuf encourages his sister to see the deviousness of Zeynep and not let her destroy their love.

Just when Menekşe decides to talk it out with Halil, Zeynep finds a new way to get back at Menekşe.

Learning that her father took money from Halil, Menekşe directs all her anger towards Halil at first. She thinks that she was sold for the second time, just as Zeynep said. But soon she decides to hear Halil's side. She explains her feelings to Halil who gives her every right to be angry. She decides to face his father.

Halil can no longer tolerate Zeynep. He fires Zeynep from the company, but Zeynep has no intention of leaving. This event causes Mithat and Zeynep to join forces.

Menekşe, who argues with her father at home, is again subjected to his violence. But this time his brothers take her side. Meanwhile the arrival of Hasan's girlfriend from Berlin in Istanbul confuses him. Menekşe goes to Halil's place to return his money.

Mithat wants Commissioner Ömer out of the way and makes a plan that involves Aysel and Lale in order to get rid of him. Zeynep, who is trying to prevent Halil from buying her out of the Company, decides to help Mithat to seize the memory box, where Halil's big secret is hidden.

Not realizing he is entering Halil's house, Mustafa follows the order of Mithat's goons to steal the box. Inside, he realizes he is in Halil's house and seeing the envelope full of money he takes that too along with the box. Menekşe steps out of the bathroom and gets a glimpse of Mustafa leaving the apartment.

Seeing Mustafa running away, Menekşe quickly calls Halil in horror.

Opening the box, Mustafa realizes that he has robbed Halil. Halil is infuriated that Mustafa has entered his house and was so close to Menekşe, albeit without knowing. All clues point to Zeynep and Mithat. But neither of them has any intention of admitting their guilt. The police identify Mustafa from the security cameras and are after him.

Kadir is after the money he lost to Mustafa. He meets with him in their den and having hit him out cold, takes the money from his pocket thinking he has cashed the cheque but has no intention of divorcing his sister.

Lale and Yusuf get closer. Lale does not tell him she is being hassled by Ismat and his goons. Süheyla, who learns that Hasan is with Helga again, kicks him out of the house. Losing all his power over his children, Hasan has no choice but to leave.

Kadir finally tells Yusuf about Mithat's men and their dirty work. Meanwhile Lale resists against them. Aysel tells Yusuf Lale has been captured. Yusuf calls on Halil and they immediately run to Lale's rescue with the address provided by Kadir.

Halil moves to the same street, opposite their house, in order to be closer to Menekşe. Realizing that he will not be able to extort money from Halil again, Hasan once more becomes cold toward his relationship with his daughter.

Yusuf brings Lale home after rescuing her from Mithat's men. Süheyla does not want to accept Lale at home. Yusuf warns her that has no intention of giving up on Lale.

Disrupting Mithat's plans, Aysel is left defenseless. He is also jealous of Lale's acceptance into the family and begins to put pressure on Kadir. Meanwhile, Mustafa decides to take his revenge from Kadir by getting back at Aysel.

Mustafa is shaken by his first murder but soon gets used to it.

Kadir is temporarily suspected of Aysel's murder but is soon cleared of it. The police are now chasing Mustafa. Since Commissioner Ömer has been following the incident from the beginning, he has full knowledge of all the details and Mithat Ateş comes to the end of the road in the operation.

A new era begins for Menekşe and her family. The murder of Aysel affects everyone in a different way. Yusuf and Lale get closer to each other with this event. Yusuf, who wants to make Lale's presence at home permanent, proposes to Lale. Süheyla is devastated by this news and begins to make it clear that she is against Lale. This situation causes new unrest in the house. Halil prepares a nice invitation to end the tensions and celebrate Lale and Yusuf's engagement as well as Menekşe's new business venture. The night ends with an altercation.

Zeynep finds a file bearing the mysterious numbers in Halil's box and decides to go to Bosnia to follow its clues.

On the other hand, Mustafa gradually turns into a reckless murderer. He hides away from Istanbul for a while. He encounters Şehnaz, who took his money and ran away. He ends up killing her too.

Halil tries to create new opportunities for Menekşe to get rid of Mustafa's anxiety. He supports Menekşe to open her own patisserie. Menekşe forgets about Mustafa for a while with her patisserie enthusiasm. But when she least expects it, she feels Mustafa's breath on her neck again.

As soon as Halil hears Mustafa is back in the city, he realizes he would go after Menekşe. He is not mistaken. Halil chases Mustafa but loses him. Menekşe is now under the protection of the police.

But even the danger of death cannot keep her away from her dreams. With Halil's encouragement, Menekşe continues her preparations to open her patisserie.

Yusuf will not stand for Süheyla belittling Lale and decides to move out. Thinking it out, he tells Lale they can return to Berlin to open a new page in their lives.

Mustafa finds disturbing ways of making his presence known to Menekşe and her family. All attempts by the police at capturing him fails. Semih is also targeted by Mustafa and decides to disappear for a while. Mustafa has no more qualms about killing whoever gets in his way.

Halil finds out Zeynep has gone to Bosnia and is curious to see what she is cooking now. She returns telling him she has learned very important facts about his past.

Halil does not give Zeynep the satisfaction of having peaked his interest. The bloody wedding dress and note that Mustafa sends to Menekşe is too disturbing for the family and Halil. Mustafa also sent a red ribbon to Menekşe's father. Halil immediately takes the necessary measures for the protection of Menekşe.

Commissioner Ömer also assigns protection to Menekşe. Menekşe is preparing to open her patisserie and Halil reassures her that he will not let Mustafa's threats interfere with her plans.

Zeynep asks Mithat about his relationship with Halil's mother. Mithat was Halil's father's partner and apparently had an affair with Halil's mother.

Mustafa tries to lose track of himself. While looking for a place to take shelter on a deserted road outside the city, he discovers a road an accident and takes advantage of the victim's identity. Assuming the new identity, his path crosses with a woman named Emine. Halil's lawyers speed up Menekşe's divorce case. With the testimony of Commissioner Ömer, Menekşe appears before the judge to regain her freedom.

Menekşe's divorce case has been concluded and Menekşe has gained her freedom. Without wasting any time, Halil starts preparations for marriage. He asks for Menekşe's hand right in front of the court door and Hasan consents.

Halil takes Menekşe out and Kadir makes sure they can spend the night on their own. Halil proposes to her on a beautiful bridge and they couple finally kiss each other. Menekşe enjoys the night with Halil free of every concern and even gets tipsy with the wine, dance and happiness in the arms of her beloved.

Meanwhile Emine learns that the police is after Mustafa because of murder. She is however impressed by his kindness to her daughter and her daughter's presumption that he is her long awaited father.

On the other hand, when Zeynep learns that Menekşe is divorced and that there is no obstacle to their marriage, she is downtrodden. Zeynep asks Mithat if he could possible be Halil's father.

Both the police and Semih follow Mustafa's trail. Semih decides to use Menekşe to catch Mustafa. He contacts Mustafa and informs him about the finalization of the divorce.

Mustafa goes crazy when he learns that Menekşe divorced him in absentia. He once again swears revenge. Emine decides to help him.

Menekşe and Halil have completed all the preparations and now they have started to count the days for the wedding. Meanwhile, Menekşe continues her preparations for the opening of the patisserie.

Meanwhile, what Zeynep learned in Bosnia has intrigued Mithat and he wants Semih to get the content of the file in Zeynep's hand.

While Halil and Menekşe prepare for their wedding, Emine secures a job at the opening patisserie.

On the wedding night, Mustafa comes after Menekşe. Semih's men are after him so he has to run away.

Menekşe and Halil happily sign the wedding book. But Mustafa's shadow falls on them again when Halil wants to get close to Menekşe.

The great trauma that Menekşe experienced has cast the shadow of Mustafa on their marriage. Halil calms Menekşe and reassures her that he is not going to force her do anything she is not prepared to do. She wants to get professional help.

The wedding gift picture Zeynep sends bears clues about Halil's past.

Mustafa, who cannot take revenge on Menekşe's wedding night, becomes more irritable. Emine thinks she has to get rid of Menekşe in order to start a brand new life with Mustafa. She wants to help Mustafa for this.

Mithat is moved by the possibility that Halil may be his own son.

Learning that Halil is going to Ankara with Mithat for a job, Emine immediately makes a plan and starts implementing it with Mustafa. Emine traps Menekşe.

Mustafa kidnaps Menekse and promises to ruin Menekse's and Halil's life.

Emine calls Halil and tells him where Mustafa is.

Sebnem lives with Menekse's family while her mother is taken into prison. Halil finds out the truth about his parentage.

Sebnem's real father is released from prison. Halil tries to reconcile with his father's identity.

Despite his promise to Menekse, Halil organizes a meeting with Mustafa in Mithat's name.

Mithat is trying to repair his relationship with Halil. Mustafa is holding Zeynep as a hostage.

Menekse turns her back on Halil after he lies to her about his revenge on Mustafa. Mustafa turns up at the hospital and accidentally runs into Menekse.

Mustafa's trials begin. Menekse and Halil become reconciled.

Menekse and Halil are trying to have a good time, but the odds are against them.

Mustafa is in the hospital. Mithat arrives back from Bosnia and is hiding a woman whose identity shocks Halil.

After the happy family reunion comes a disaster when Mustafa escapes from the hospital.

Lale and Yusuf decide about their future. Mustafa makes his last move.
