Observatory Den

Joe and Lauren get the help of experts to design dream dens for children. Helena is 11 and an only child. She loves star-gazing, wants to be an astrophysicist when she's older and is passionate about girls getting into science. She lives above her mum and dad's bookshop where they often work seven days a week which means she doesn't get the chance to get out and look at the night sky! Helena needs a den to help her reach for the stars and fulfil her science dreams.

Rugby Den

Joe and Lauren get the help of experts to design dream dens for children. Will is 12 and loves rugby, but he had to give it up in order to have chemotherapy. Will has Langerhans cell histiocytosis and his rugby community have helped to get him through it. Being restricted to the sidelines is getting him down so he needs a rugby den to keep him in the game!

Joe and Lauren get the help of experts to design dream dens for children. Claire House Children's Hospice is a BBC Children in Need-supported charity in the Wirral. They do an amazing job looking after children with life-limiting conditions as well as providing much needed care and support to their families. In order to help more children than they can at the moment, they are opening a new site in Liverpool and that is where the Dengineers come in. With the help of all our on-screen designers, and the Blue Peter audience, we are going to build an amazing den for the children and their siblings to enjoy, where they can make happy memories. This is the biggest build ever attempted by the Dengineers!

Marble Run Den

Ocean, nine, from Brentwood has had a tough time. His younger brother Sky died two years ago and he needs a place to escape to when things get too much for him. He also has a new baby sister which he's excited about but his house has become pretty noisy! Ocean loves marble runs because they're like rollercoasters and one day he'd like to be a rollercoaster designer. He wants a marble run den where he can get away from it all and work towards his dream.

Astrid is nine years old and lives in one of the UK's most famous summer hot spots. But unfortunately for Astrid she prefers the winter and loves Christmas. She wishes Christmas could last all year. She needs a Christmas den so she can enjoy that special day all year round.

Scottish Castle Den

Brothers Alec and William are very proud of their Scottish heritage. And it's not just their family they're proud of, they think Scotland has a really interesting history and they want to celebrate it. The problem is that Alec and William live in a remote part of Scotland and there aren't that many kids around to play with, so they want a den to play in that looks like a traditional Scottish castle.

Martial Arts Den

She really needs her own space to indulge her love of martial arts. She wants it to be a dojo on the inside so she can practice and not worry about her brother getting in the way.

Turkish Den

Ten-year-old Dilara has a Turkish dad and an English mum. She loves her dual heritage and misses Turkey with all its sights and smells, particularly her grandma's Turkish tea. She would like to share her passion for Turkey with her friends at home in Leeds, but there isn't enough room in her house. So, she needs a Turkish den.

Witchcraft and Wizardry Den

Nine-year-old Kiran is a big fan of a certain boy wizard and a bit like his hero, he's had his life turned upside down. He recently changed schools, moved miles away from all his friends and he hasn't complained once. That's because Kiran helps look after his mum, who has a disability which means she has trouble moving around. His mum's condition meant they needed to be nearer to family. In a place they are still getting used to, Kiran, and Pudding his dog, need somewhere they can escape, to let imaginations run wild and let their love of witchcraft and wizardry come to life.

Sensory Den

Eleven-year-old Cammy is one of six siblings. You'd think that would be reason enough for him to deserve his own space, but Cammy also has Sensory Processing Disorder. Sometimes the bustle of his busy family home is too much for him, and when he gets agitated he knows it's too much for his siblings. He thinks they need a break from him as much as he needs a break from them. Cammy's SPD means he can be oversensitive to certain sounds, smells textures and flavours. He needs a place where he can be on his own, in calm and quiet to let his senses relax.
