During a press-effective lecture in the harbor of Leer, the ship of a research institute crashes into another boat. There is no trace of the captain and manager of the institute on board.

While the police in Leer are confronted with an unknown dead man on the beach, Yunus surprises his buddy, undertaker Wolfgang Habedank, with an unusual business idea. To finance the new business model, Yunus asks his sister, patrol officer Süher Özlügül, for the necessary start-up capital. Süher is not very enthusiastic about it.
