The Trumpet Awards Foundation presents the 24th Annual Trumpet Awards, to celebrate and honor history-making entertainment, humanitarian, political and philanthropic individuals. Nia Long and Mike Epps, co-stars of the upcoming ABC sitcom "Uncle Buck," will host the black-tie ceremony, to be held at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday, January 23, 2016. The 24th Annual Trumpet Awards will air on Bounce TV and nationally in over 75 markets. This event was taped on 23 January but it is finally airing tonight, 29 January for the 1st time.

Valor Award recognizes a bold and courageous individual whose moral compass directs their impassioned fight toward fairness and the betterment of society while overcoming insurmountable odds.
