The footprint of the kitchen is flipped to create a more functional space and to make room for a giant island for prep and entertaining. In keeping with the outdoor feel, Alison brings in white washed wood-like flooring that picks up the colors from the natural brown cabinetry. To add some DIY touches Alison and the homeowners make a dining table with the legs wrapped in jute, a window treatment to block the neighbors and easy-to-make wall vases using wine bottles.

Alison and company find a contractor and his wife who are desperate for a new kitchen. Along with the crash came a freezing winter storm and tons of snow, but that didn't stop the work. Over the course of three days this space goes from dated and lifeless to stunning. The transformation starts with a new mud room floor, cabinets in both rooms, a huge center island, and an amazing blue refrigerator. Alison also teaches the homeowners to create one of a kind custom touches like a coat rack using reclaimed door panels, a rolling ladder, and hand hammered distressed door faces. Sarah and Greg have no idea the endless storage possibilities their kitchen has until Alison gets her hands on it. To satisfy Jared's love for baking, Alison and Gary design a baking station with plenty of room for storage and rolling out dough. Steve's desire to entertain is met with a gold bar cart that Alison and Steve cut and weld together. Alison and host Chris Grundy start by building cabinets, a giant center island, and custom pantry. As the days roll on the empty room becomes a showplace complete with concrete counter-tops, custom wood and metal chandelier, welded pot rack, huge copper topped work space, built in banquet, herb garden and all new gorgeous appliances. In the end this blank slate becomes an amazing and enormous space combining rustic and modern touches that anyone would be thrilled to call home.

Alison is stuck within the footprint of Maria and Matt's galley kitchen, so rather than fight the space, she pumps up the creativity and changes up the layout. First, she shortens a large window and moves the sink underneath to maximize countertop and cabinet space. After the soffits are out, ceiling height light sage-colored cabinetry comes in to compliment whitewashed laminate flooring and marbled black, cream and white granite countertops. Next up, smudge-proof black appliances including a double oven, cooktop, counter-depth refrigerator and stylish hood. To keep up with the black accents, Alison installs a heavy-duty black granite sink, faucet and sleek cabinet hardware. A dark and outdated kitchen is gutted and opened up into a Mid Century Modern space! In just three days the kitchen is completely transformed with brand new hardwood floors, all new cabinets, bright backsplash, banquette seating and a custom walnut dining table. Plus, an island faced with gypsum tiles takes center stage and is completed with walnut stools made with seat belts!

Alison and the Kitchen Crashers Crew find a couple of California homeowners who have a really big kitchen. The problem is size is the only thing this space has going for it, everything else is old and dated and half of the flooring is exposed plywood. The plan involves adding even more room by removing a wall and then the new finishes start flooding in. This ambitious renovation starts with new flooring throughout both the kitchen and living room spaces and new cabinets in both light and dark. Part of the cabinet package includes a huge kitchen island, painted blue, and topped with a manufactured stone countertop and then custom built elements like a sliding barn door, pub table, and a doggy feeding hutch are added. Lots of tears and laughter fill this new kitchen when the homeowners are called in for the for the final reveal.

Ari and Lara's kitchen is cramped and the layout is all wrong, until Alison Victoria comes in and revamps the entire space, partially knocking down the wall into the dining room and accenting the room with an arch and DIY distressed corbels. Alison brings in a reclaimed wood floor to give the room a rustic feel and grey washed cabinetry with detailed doors and crystal hardware for a modern feel. Where there was once a wall, there is now a custom reclaimed wood peninsula and alcove with a DIY picture frame and chalkboard. Jess and Tom try to make the most of city living by using their deck off the kitchen as a dining area, but their setup isn't working for them until Alison gets her hands on it. After tossing their main appliances off the deck, Alison and the crew carefully take down the wall of cabinetry and re-use the cabinet faces for DIY planter boxes. So that they don't make the same mistake twice, Alison replaces the cabinetry with two-toned cabinets and an open shelving area to break up the giant wall. While they're very happy with their indoor kitchen, Casey and McKenzie's urban backyard has a lot to be desired, until Alison and her crew step in for a complete overhaul. This Las Vegas home has an enormous back yard that Alison re-imagines with a hotel-styled cabana kitchen at its hub. The transformation begins with new pavers, outdoor cabinetry and an enormous shade structure with his and her sides and an outdoor TV. The Bravermans have a large kitchen but it's dimly lit and feels like a cave. Alison transforms the cavernous dark-brown space into a two-toned and open kitchen that makes you look up and feel how large the kitchen really is. Complete with a homemade pot-rack and white cabinets that reach the ceiling, this kitchen creates space for the whole family.

A worn out kitchen from the 60s is updated to create a midcentury modern space. This kitchen is complete with avocado countertops, apricot cabinets and silhouette glass backsplash in turquoise. Plus, Alison designs a custom dining banquette area, vintage nesting suitcase tables with turquoise legs and a one of a kind gold record stool.

This kitchen is so old the ceiling is literally falling down. Alison updates the space to match the homeowner's retro atomic vibe. This kitchen comes alive with high gloss white cabinets, vintage diamond shaped backsplash in green and gold, and apple martini green countertops. To add to the design, Alison builds a custom retro kidney shaped table in black walnut with vintage gold legs and shelving system from chrome pipes.

Alison and the Kitchen Crashers crew tackle a section of real estate reserved solely for the family dog to do his business. This outdoor kitchen begins with a new door to access the space. All of the necessities required for a kitchen are brought in including marine grade cabinets, stone countertops, outdoor appliances and freshly painted furniture. Next Alison coaches the homeowners through three innovative custom projects: two dressers turned into planters, a fire table made from junk the homeowners wanted to throw away, and an herb garden made from recycled palettes.

Alison creates a modern space for a whole family. Ace and Raul's kitchen cabinets are the same quality as office furniture and the granite always looks dirty. Alison replaces those cabinets with stainless steel, glass and high-gloss white cabinets complete with grey countertops and a huge island in ice white. This kitchen is complete with a custom-built wine rack with remote backlighting, a bar cart built from industrial pipes and one of a kind cork coasters.

Jamie and Maria want to feel like they are outdoors in their new kitchen. Alison draws inspiration from nature with an earth tone palette. Alison completes the design with mosaic stone backsplash, granite countertops with a waterfall island and hardwood floors. To add to the design, Alison builds a custom dog food bin from reclaimed hardwood and adds a tree design to the adjacent wall.

This massive renovation starts some serious removal of everything in sight. Now the new stuff starts coming in starting with hand-scraped flooring and dark wood cabinets. Then Alison pairs up with the homeowners to create custom elements such as a kitchen island, banquet bench with a waterfall edge and wine storage. Once the final touches like appliances, backsplash and lighting are installed the homeowners are left speechless with the final outcome.

A kitchen that hasn't been touched since the 60s gets updated to a family friendly modern kitchen with a Midcentury style. This kitchen is complete with custom turquoise cabinets, penny round white backsplash, matching retro appliances and cork flooring. Plus, Alison designs and installs floor-to-ceiling built-in shelving with wine racks in a walnut stain, floating shelving over the sink, and a sliding turquoise barn door that separates the kitchen from their studio.

Alison draws inspiration from Italian style kitchens to create a rustic kitchen for a family of five. She starts the design with a custom faux beam that separates the kitchen from the rest of the house and adds espresso cabinets, white marbled countertops, and rustic flooring with lots of texture.

It's an all-ladies crash when Alison Victoria helps Porsha and her sister Lisa transform Porsha's builder-grade kitchen into a stylish space with an old world, Moroccan vibe. The crash starts with a major wall coming down, opening the kitchen into the dining room and making space for a giant peninsula. Alison designs a DIY mosaic table and built-in banquette to fill what was an under utilized space in the corner. Espresso stained lower cabinets and avocado green upper cabinets are complimented with a giant Moroccan print backsplash that goes from countertop to ceiling. Alison and Lisa work on a custom DIY hood made of reclaimed wood that will have all of the neighbors envious. Stainless steel appliances, oil-rubbed bronze hardware and a new chandelier complete the space.

Alison and the Kitchen Crashers crew tackle a small kitchen that is completely separated from the main room by a countertop. Starting with new flooring and cabinets this space gets transformed into a sleek, stylish kitchen with accents more commonly seen in big city lofts. Beautiful white countertops are added before the custom pieces are added in like a butcher block counter with a waterfall edge, art storage cabinet with sliding blue door, and a quick and easy charging station to fit above the electrical outlets. When this crash is done both homeowners feel as if they are living in someone else's house.

Fred and Dani have an original kitchen from the 1970s complete with mismatched appliances, dated cabinets and fluorescent lighting. They beg Alison to give their kitchen an update that will mesh with the rest of their Spanish-style home and she delivers by removing the weird cabinetry along the curved brick wall, opening up the space to allow an 8-foot long island with stools and plenty of prep space on the new granite countertops. The brick wall gets cleaned up, matching appliances get moved in, along with a beautiful wood-surround hood and a hammered copper sink. Finally she creates a rustic dining table, a pot rack out of a re-purposed garden trellis and fur-on-hyde stools, all with a Spanish flare.

When Alison walks into John and Kerry's kitchen, she realizes they weren't kidding around; the space is in desperate need for a crash. Without much additional space to expand into, Alison takes on the layout first, closing off several windows and breaking out the wall into the butler's pantry to make space for the L-shaped kitchen. With more wall space available, Alison adds dual colored cabinetry and open shelving in every direction, giving this family more storage and prep space than they ever thought possible. Granite countertops, laminate flooring and a DIY organization wall give the kitchen a fresh start and a chance at durability against the couple's four young boys.

Alison and her crew are in Idaho to crash the Blog Cabin kitchen. With the walls already up and drywalled, Alison and Grundy can concentrate on building some big DIYs. Up first, a giant table made of black walnut with custom light-up lettering for the formal dining area. For the kitchen, they build stools out of fresh timber, channeling out sections and adding a resin and copper mix that will sparkle underneath the breakfast bar. Finishes include dual colored cabinetry with under cabinet lighting, dual colored quartz backsplash and countertops, stainless steel appliances and a custom-built chef's pantry.

Space is at a premium in this city kitchen, so Alison has to get creative. She blocks off a window to make space for a refrigerator, pantry and desk area and then builds the entire design upwards using triple stacked cabinetry. Track lighting, under cabinet lighting and in-cabinet lighting help light and break up the space. Quartz countertops that look like marble and stainless steel appliances, including a hood with a double extension to the ceiling, add to the look. A chevron patterned backsplash, DIY island and personalized desk area backsplash give the space a one-of-a-kind touch.

Alison and the Kitchen Crashers crew tackle a dated kitchen with terrible sense of flow. This renovation starts by donating all the cabinets and demolishing two short walls to create a new sense of space. Then elements like a new center island, cabinets and countertops start flying in. Add to that custom details which Alison builds with the homeowners including a small mud cubby, doggie feeding station, and baskets made from paint sticks to store both human and dog items.

Tara and Joe love to brunch, and they love the look of kitchens they see in catalogs, so Alison Victoria has her work cut out of her to give them a personalized space with a catalog look. She starts by eliminating the old peninsula and replacing it with a DIY island perfect for laying out a brunch spread. For the seating area, Alison adds a built-in banquette, wood paneled wall and "green" light fixture. The soffits are gone and replaced with floor to ceiling dark wood cabinetry, the tiny "chicken nugget" oven gets an upgrade to a full-size double oven and ugly tile flooring is replaced with wood.

Alison and the Kitchen Crashers crew reimagine a drab backyard to create a multi-level entertaining space. The fun starts with repurposing an existing deck and creating a huge upper level. Then they add an entire kitchen complete with outdoor cabinets, concrete countertops, pergola, and appliances. The lower level gets a seating area and beautiful planters all around. Alison also helps the homeowners create custom elements like concrete planters, a simple concrete bench, and dark stained bar stools.

Alison takes on this choppy and dated kitchen with a brand new layout. By removing a window and making a second window shorter, she's able to move the sink, flip the fridge location and create a focal wall with a range and hood that makes all the difference. Once the layout is locked down, navy and white cabinetry give the space a new shape and a butcher block island top, muted metallic backsplash and stainless steel appliances give it style.

Alison and the Kitchen Crashers crew find a crazy couple and literally change every inch of their Chicago Kitchen. While the wild antics, including karate moves ensue, the renovation starts. After a complete demo including the outside windows, the new stuff starts flying in, including a picture window, new floors, cabinets, countertops, colorful orange island and lighting. Alison and the homeowners set their sights on the custom touches like barstools, dimensional shelves and a map wall treatment. The homeowners are overwhelmed at the transformation.

When Alison finds Toni and Jason in the hardware store they're in desperate need of a kitchen that not only functions, but fits Jason! Alison takes on the challenge and changes up the layout, breaking into a guest bedroom closet to make space for a built-in pantry and closing up a window to add wall space for cabinetry. Decades old patterned flooring is replaced with a floating wood floor, an island with a concrete top adds prep space and can lighting replaces Jason holding a flashlight for Toni while she cooks. A DIY hutch gives additional space and style while crayon-themed artwork adds some color and fun. And the biggest surprise of them all, Jason pops the question right before the big reveal!

After demo, what was once the most hated room in the house doubles in size to become one of the largest kitchens of the show. The transformation begins with new floors, cabinets, and countertops. Then custom items are built like a rolling bar cart, note panels in the cabinet doors, and a light fixture that gets a facelift with a "crate shade." There are both tears of joy and laughter when these homeowners finally get to see this enormous space.

Alison and the Kitchen Crashers gang attack a kitchen from the 50's that is literally covered floor to ceiling in some form of plastic. After the difficult demo, this completely gutted space starts to fill up with details like new walls, window and flooring. Next, mid century style is added with cabinets, countertops and stunning appliances. There is also custom floating shelves and a wine rack made from pvc pipe. The final reveal leaves the homeowners feeling like they've just walked into someone else's house.

Alex and Joe have a giant deck on the roof of their garage, but they've let it sit for nearly eight years because they've been too overwhelmed by the lack of privacy to build it up. Luckily, Alison has ideas and starts her design by enclosing the space with slatted pine privacy walls. To add function, she designs three separate spaces, a kitchen, dining area and lounge. In the kitchen, Alison brings in a giant grill, beverage refrigerator, cabinets, granite countertops and a sink. Alison and Alex team up to make DIY side tables that will go in the lounge area, right by the new fire pit. In the elevated dining area, Alison has seating for 8, a turf floor and plants to give the space a cozy feel.

Then the new stuff starts flying in like new cabinets in two finishes, white countertops, new appliances, lighting and black paint. The homeowners are thrilled beyond their expectations at the final result.
