When a couple are arrested for dealing, an ambitious detective tries to persuade them to become police informants - and they in turn lead him to a bigger supplier.

Homicide detectives are called out to a quiet Kansas City neighbourhood, where a man has barricaded himself inside a local deli with two dead bodies. In police interviews, the man claims he shot both his girlfriend and the store owner in self-defence. But with no witnesses and no CCTV, the detectives must forensically unpick the suspect's account.
