After Charity reaches out to Carlton, he voices his suspicions about why it took so long for her to call him. Lady Mae becomes suspicious of the Calvary's newest benefactor when she discovers Rochelle getting cozy with Bishop.

Bishop becomes suspicious of Grace when she gets inspired by Basie Skanks when an interview written by Darius and then a video about inclusivity in church goes viral. As a result, Bishop goes to have a heart to heart with Basie. Tiring of Jacob not wanting to use the money raised to fix the things needed around the house, Kerissa urges him to get a day job. Jacob sets some new ground rules for Zora and Isaiah after catching them alone in Zora's room. Meanwhile, as Grace tries to figure out where she fits in at Calvary, Charity tries to figure out where her relationship with Jabari is headed. Lady Mae gets some new information about Rochelle that makes her more suspicious of the woman's motives toward Bishop.
