Search show by episode and by season

Hi all,

Noob here, I am trying to create a form where users can enter the show name the episode number and the season number. I am reading the docs and testing various combinations but cannot understand how to do it.

I found a thread where this endpoint is suggested

http://api.tvmaze.com/seasons/197?embed=episodes

but I dont get how I can add the show name (doh!). Do I have to first make a call with shows?q=girls and then find the season number and then use the endpoint

? I don't think so, can someone give me an example?

how does http://api.tvmaze.com/shows/6/seasons pick a show? and where do you see the season ID ??? :)

so Im still not sure about my first question, do I have to do a search by name ?q=goliath find the show's id and then use the above endpoints to list the episodes per season?
