American Crime. A Show Too Good for Network Television
You really just said that American Crime is The Wire good?!? I am astounded by that sentiment. I watch the first 2 episodes with high expectations and was left underwhelmed and really just bored. I was also left wondering what I was supposed to get out of this show, like, what's the take away. There isn't anything new here. I agree with what you say about the realistic presentation which I could probably appreciate if it wasn't so boring and apologetic and guilt ridden. Idk, maybe placing it after Scandal was just a REALLY bad decision. I've been thinking about watching the rest of the episodes only because I hate to not finish a television series once I've started it. After reading your article I'm very curious as to what makes you say it's The Wire good. I'm intrigued...
Cry Havoc
AMAZING! This show should be one of the most talked about shows right now but sadly not many people know about it! This season started exactly as it should have, bigger and with more at stake than the previous season's last episode! I can't imagine things slowing down this season especially with John Alden where he is, Mary Sibley's duress & forced had, Mercy Lewis' INSANE power play and the new characters introduced! This season is gonna be intense!
The Reckoning
I thought it picked up slow compared to how it left off. I thought there'd be way more of a build up after that first half of season 1 but it was a decent episode. I feel like there wasn't a lot going on this episode but there was a lot said! Loyalties are questions while others are strengthened! And that spanking was both funny and awkward!
Amazing! I didn't see this turning the way it did! A very emotional episode! Very well done!
