Kogoro Mouri

Father of Ran Mori, he is a detective, but never good at what he does. However, once Conan came into picture he soon rose to stardom and became renowned detective, also known as Sleeping Kogoro. That is due to the fact that Conan often puts him to sleep with a tranquilizer dart and does deductions in his voice. Kogoro is a huge fan of pop idol Yoko and loves going to her concerts or watch her on TV. He is divorced from Ran's mother, and although she occasionally enters the picture, the two of them never get back together. He loves drinking a lot, and is interested in cases whenever a beautiful damsel turns out to be the client.
