Aunt Effie Harper

Effie Harper, or Crowley, depending on the script, is somebody's Aunt. Either she is Thelma's Aunt or perhaps she is the Aunt of her late husband. She is the inspiration for Sophia Petrillo, an elderly yet active character that has painfully honest things to say, a perfect fit for Mama's Family. There was even a short time where Effie moved in with Thelma. Keeping the tradition of Alcohol in the family, Effie cooks all her foods with Rum. She is one of Thelma's very close friends, and even be came partners with her when they started a Dance Academy mostly meant for active senior citizens.
