Shawn realizes his sense of being stalked is real, and nearly gets Jan in the precinct, where she signs the condolence book for Roman as Mary Smith, the starts chasing tenaciously. Tony tells Bart he's innocent, so the real killer is free as the dumb police is off-guard, indeed when TEK bursts bumbling Bo Brady's bubble, there is no shred of evidence against Tony as the sword tested negative, rather then face facts he blindly continues pro- and persecuting DiMera on pure prejudice, bragging nobody would even accept his defense. Tony already called off his top-lawyer and purposely asked nearly broke Mikey to defend him for $1,000,000, which gets accepted, with some encouragement from Bonnie, who dreams of him reopening Tuscany for her.
