Andrés reproaches Jesús for not visiting him in prison. Don Pedro apologizes to Digna for her intervention in prolonging Andrés's detention, but she is not willing to forgive him. Digna demands that Don Pedro make the press report Andrés's innocence. Miguel Ángel Vaca receives the results of the tests that Dr. Herrera performed on him: they are not what he expected.
